The position of Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for providing high quality service to clients by building and maintaining productive relationships with realtors, builders, new and existing clients, brokers and title companies; originating mortgages and expanding the client deposit base; processing and closing loans according to Washington Federal policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines; assisting in the administration of all branch activities; providing leadership, direction, and mentoring to branch staff as designated by the Branch Manager and is responsible for designated Manager’s duties in the Manager’s absence. Job schedule varies based on branch hours of operation.
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong skills in math, 10-key, keyboarding and filing. Excellent organizational and communication skills; must be analytical and detail minded. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet usage. A valid driver’s license, satisfactory transportation and adequate insurance coverage. Prior experience in a supervisory/managerial position; previous work in client relations; prior mortgage loan and savings experience, including familiarity with loan documentation and processing; sales and marketing experience.
